Timestamps allow to store the exact trigger position if using an external or channel trigger of the cards. This allows to set all acquisitions into a precise time relation to each other. The timestamp information is extremely useful if using a segmented acquisition mode like Multiple Recording or Gated Sampling and is essential if using ABA mode to have a time correlation between slow A data and fast B data.
The acquired Timestamps are shown in the segmented display with the correct time information. The segmented display offers a huge number of features that use the timestamp information.
SBench 6 handles the acquired Timestamps in its internal file format as well as in some of the export formats generating extra files.
