NETBOX shows red LAN LED

When digitizerNETBOX/generatorNETBOX has been started and shows a green power LED but a red LAN LED something in the basic LAN connection is not working. Please check all of the following potential fault reasons:

  • Restart the NETBOX by powering it down and disconnecting power for a few seconds
  • Check the LAN connector on the NETBOX side: is it properly connected, no dirt on the connections, connector itself not broken?
  • Check the LAN connector on the other side (PC or switch or LAN outlet) : is it properly connected, no dirt on the connections, connector itself not broken?
  • Connect the NETBOX directly to a PC and check whether the LAN LED turns green then
  • Use a different PC or a different LAN connection on the PC
  • Check on the PC whether the LAN connection you're using is activated
  • Exchange the LAN cable
  • Do a LAN reset (front-panel button)

NETBOX LAN LED shows no color

Please wait a minimum of one minute. Depending on the LAN configuration it may take up to one minute until LAN connection is established.

If the LAN LED shows no color but power LED shows green, you may still try to connect to the NETBOX using the Discovery function. In rare cases the front-panel controller that operates the LED's is not working properly.
