49xx High Bandwidth Option (hbw)

The article compares the high bandwidth option of the 49xx series with the standard version and shows the differences in measured dynamic parameters

Synchronous Digital Output Option

This option outputs additional synchronous digital channels phasestable with the analog data. When this option is installed there are 2 additional digital outputs for every analog D/A channel. The digital data is stored in the upper two bits of the 16 bit data word. If the option is not used or not installed, the upper two bits of the data word are not used for anything.

BaseXIO Option

The BaseXIO option offers 8 asynchronous digital I/O lines on the base card. The direction can be selected by software in groups of four. Two of these lines can also be used as additional external trigger sources. This allows the building of complex trigger conjunctions with external gated triggers as well as AND/OR conjunction of multiple external trigger sources like, for example, the picture and row synchronisation of video signals. In addition one of the I/ O lines can be used as reference clock for the Timestamp counter.

Synchronous Digital Input Option

This option acquires additional synchronous digital channels phasestable with the analog data. When this option is installed there are is a number of additional digital inputs available for every analog A/D channel. The digital data is stored in the upper bits of the data word. Using this option allows to acquire mixed mode data of analog and digital channels.

M2p Mixed Mode Digital Option

The mixed mode option adds another 16 multi-purpose channels to each M2p card. Each of the 16 channels can be individually programmed for different functions. Together with the standard 4 multi-purpose I/O channels they form a total of 20 supporting digital channels.

DN2.59 Mixed Mode Digital Option

This option acquires additional synchronous digital channels phasestable with the analog data. When this option is installed there are is a number of additional digital channels available synchroneous with the analogue channel. The digital data is stored in the upper bits of the data word. Using this option allows to acquire mixed mode data of analog and digital channels.

M4i Mixed Mode Digital Option

This option acquires additional synchronous digital channels phasestable with the analog data. When this option is installed there are is a number of additional digital channels available synchroneous with the analogue channel. The digital data is stored in the upper bits of the data word. Using this option allows to acquire mixed mode data of analog and digital channels.

Digital Pulse Generator Firmware Option

The article explains the details of the Pulse Generator Option which allows to run 4 independent pulse generators on selected models of the M2p/M4i/M4x/M5i hardware.

Option M5i.3321-inptd - Time Domain Input Stage Optimization

Input stage optimized for time domain measurement with a modified filter characteristic to minimize overshoot and undershoot on step response.
