System shut-down is no longer working after Windows update
On some systems Windows 7 is not shutting down properly if a Spectrum card is installed in the system. This could be caused by a critical Windows update KB2529073.
How to get around it
Please check whether you need the functionality of the update for other drivers. If not please uninstall the update from your system:
- Go to the control panel (Start button)
- Programs
- Programs and Features -> View installed updates
- Search for the update KB2529073 and uninstall it
- reboot
