Calibration ISO17025 certificate
Since 2026 Spectrum is offering an optional ISO17025 conform certificate for any performed calibration. This extra can be ordered together with a newly manufacturered and freshly calibrated product as well as together with a factory calibration.
A German accredited partner company is performing the certification together with trained personal at the Spectrum laboratory. All instruments in the Spectrum lab that are used for tests, specification confirmation and calibration are regularly calibrated at accredited laboratories. The detail information of the used test equipement with type of instrument, serial number, last calibration date and next calibration date is stored in Spectrum production data base and specified with every delivered or re-calibrated product.
ISO/IEC 17025
ISO/IEC 17025 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories is the main standard used by testing and calibration laboratories. In most countries, ISO/IEC 17025 is the standard for which most labs must hold accreditation in order to be deemed technically competent. In many cases, suppliers and regulatory authorities will not accept test or calibration results from a lab that is not accredited. ISO/EIC 17025 laboratories are accredited by local accreditation cooperations to ensure compatibility with the standard.
