The new M2p.59xx series of 16 bit PCIe digitizers from Spectrum deliver an unrivalled combination of features, all packed into one very small half-size PCIe card. Furthermore, you can choose exactly the performance level you need by selecting from 20 different models. Units are available with sampling rates of 20, 40, 80 and 125 MS/s, and with 1, 2, 4 or even 8 channels.

The M2p digitizers come complete with fully programmable gain and offset, selectable input impedance, flexible triggering, large memories and a host of acquisition and data readout modes. You can even switch between single ended and differential inputs. Other card features include fast data streaming, at rates of more than 600 MB/s over the PCIe bus, software drivers and examples for the most common programming languages, a complimentary copy of the base version of SBench 6 and a full 5 year warranty.

SCAPP - A new approach to high speed data processing

Currently digitizers have a data processing bottleneck caused by having to use either the host PC’s central processor (with 8 or 16 cores) or an FPGA that is complex to program. Spectrum Instrumentation has solved this problem with its new SCAPP software option – the Spectrum CUDA Access for Parallel Processing – that opens an easy-to-use yet extremely powerful way to digitize, process and analyze electronic signals. SCAPP allows a CUDA-based Graphical Processing Unit (GPU) to be used directly between any Spectrum digitizer and the PC. The big advantage is that data is passed directly from the digitizer to the GPU where high-speed parallel processing is possible using the GPU board’s multiple (up to 5000) processing cores.
