digitizerNETBOX, generatorNETBOX and hybridNETBOX - Ethernet/LXI
The NETBOX products provide a remote solution that connects the various instruments to a network using Ethernet (LAN) and the LXI standard. The NETBOX products can be used as a faceless bench-top instrument or mounted in a 19” rack. It can be directly connected to a laptop, a desktop PC or the company LAN, making it accessible from virtually anywhere.
Digitizers are the standard tool for converting analog signals into digital data before shifting it into a PC for further processing. They differ in the platform, sampling rate, resolution, number of channels, memory and operating modes. There are often different names for the same type of product: A/D cards, Digitizers, Transient Recorders, Data Acquisition Cards, Scope Cards, PC Scope and more. Read more about digitizers
Generator Instruments
Spectrum generators are based on fast, high-resolution digital to analog converter (DAC) technology that allows them to produce analog signals and waveforms from digital data. The products are fully programmable and enable the easy generation of standard signals such as sine, pulse, saw-tooth and square waves, as well as more complex modulated and arbitrary waveshapes. They differ in the platform, sampling rate, resolution, number of channels, memory and operating modes. Read more about generators
Hybrid Instruments
The hybridNETBOX instruments combine full functional digitizer and generator instuments in one box. Both parts can be used completely independent or in a combination for Stimulus-Response or other applcations. Read more abour the hybridNETBOX products
Sampling Rate
The sampling rate is a key differentiator between the products. Sampling rate should be selected according to the expected maximum signal frequency. Read more about the sampling rate
