Fill in a name of the signal that is shown everywhere where this signal is used. |
| Channel description button: |
Press the button to open a dialog which allows you to enter a descritive text for the channel. The text will be shown as a tool tip in the channel dialog. It will also be stored in the data file. |
| Color button: |
Press the button to select the color of the signal with which it is shown inside the different display windows. |
| Reset name button: |
Press the button to reset the name of the channel to its original value. |
| Input Path: |
Select one of the different input paths for the signal. Depending on the selected path different settings will be available. |
| Input Range: |
Select an input range from the list that matches the physical signal best. |
| Offset: |
Select a signal offset if the physical signal is shifted. |
| 50 Ohm: |
Activate the 50 ohm termination of the signal. Make sure that the source is capable of driving that termination. If not activated the input will be in high impedance state. |
| Diff Input: |
Activate to switch the channel to differential mode. If not activated the signal is used in single-ended mode. |
| AC Coupling: |
Switch between AC coupling (checked) and DC coupling (unchecked). |
| BW Limit: |
Activate the bandwidth limit of the input to have lower signal noise. |
| AC/DC Offset Compensation: |
Activate the offset compensation for AC source and DC coupling. |
| Enable Channel: |
Use this checkbox to enable or disable the channel. |
