BNC CONNECTION AND CABLES
All Spectrum BNC connections are BNC female. A cable with a BNC male connector is needed to attach to the Spectrum product.
BNC to BNC male
The BNC male connector is used to directly connect to other instruments. Most table top instruments and also most machines have a BNC female connector and need this cable to be directly connected.
- Cab-9m-9m-80: 80 cm cable BNC male to BNC male
- Cab-9m-9m-200: 200 cm cable BNC male to BNC male
BNC to SMB female
The SMB female connector can be used to interconnect two Spectrum cards for example to distribute clock or trigger signal from one system to another.
- Cab-9m-3f-80: 80 cm cable BNC male to SMB female
- Cab-9m-3f-200: 200 cm cable BNC male to SMB female
BNC to SMA male
SMA cables and connectors have been designed for highest frequencies. The SMA connection is screwed and fits very tight and stable. The SMA male connector is used to directly connect to other instruments or machines which use this high speed connector.
- Cab-9m-3mA-80: 80 cm cable BNC male to SMA male
- Cab-9m-3mA-200: 200 cm cable BNC male to SMA male
BNC to SMA female
SMA cables and connectors have been designed for highest frequencies. The SMA connection is screwed and fits very tight and stable. The SMA female connector is used to connect to standard SMA cables.
